Lace Again!

Summer fashion seems to be revolving a lot around lace and crocheted looks and I am loving every minute of it! Not one for trends, I simply can’t help but feel the need to cop myself something that fits into that bracket!

I absolutely adore the cool, laid-back look of the pieces that I ‘ve seen so far. I think those particular features make them perfect for the summer as well!

Collette Dinnigan ~ Sweetest Style of the Week (Oct 13.12)

In discussing fashion trends for spring/summer 2013, The Jamaica Observer showcased a number of fab looks and a design by Collette Dinnigan caught my eye!

I absolutely adore how this ensemble manages to be  gorgeous, elegant and simple all at the same time. Lace is trendy (and has been for a bit now), but still,  this number is timeless and could be the perfect ‘little black dress.’

Sleuthing a bit, I discovered that Dinnigan was South-African born; New Zealand raised. She has been living in the US for some time it seems, and has dressed quite a number of a-list celebs to boot!
